veg head.

this time next week I will be home in fayetteville! only four finals to get thru and then i am home free..

i had a very fun, but quick trip to csprings.. it rained all weekend while i was there, and then the rain followed me home to stillwater. i am getting really sick of it. i think it's true what people say about rain making you depressed. just last week the campus was buzzing and now its zombie land! there were always so many people laying out on library lawn, playing frisbee, bike riding, etc, and now everyone, including myself, has cooped up. i think it is making finals that much more miserable!

i am excited to be home this summer and:
-spend time with the fam and old friends
-ride my new bike! (see pics below!!)
-work at camp (going to be a crazy, draining, new experience)
-relax on the beach for a couple weeks
-eat penguin eds, tims, flying burrito, common grounds, drink arsagas and have a few snow cones
-but more importantly, eat mom's food that has not been MASS PRODUCED by our lovely cook Luellen.
-see max once a week or so. (this will be VERY nice/very weird! )
-be around the church with all the exciting new things going on
-annnd research natural foods and their uses.

i have been on this kick lately of "superfoods." tonight i sat at hastings and skimmed "The New Whole Foods Encyclopedia" (as well as "Skinny Bitch." PLEASE read simply for humors sake.) I plan on doing some research and getting my dad on board with keeping more natural foods at our house. he is still on his diet kick, so it shouldnt be too hard.

anyone ever thought about being a vegetarian? let me know what you think. i ate dinner with three vegetarians last weekend in colorado, and then spent the night with my vegetarian friend here this week. its on my mind!

A long time ago I considered becoming a vegetarian. I was never able to eat enough protein to keep my blood sugar regulated. (probably because I don't like beans) So I scrapped it. You should talk to Anna Hall, she's been veg. for years.
